France urges release of detained four Georgian teenagers

French Foreign Ministry has released a special statement on the detention of the four Georgian teenagers in the village of Tirdznisi, Gori district on November 4. France calls upon all sides, and especially Russia, to use all the available mechanisms of influence for releasing the four teenagers.

France emphasizes necessity of protecting the minors` rights in accordance with the international norms. The French Foreign Ministry calls upon the sides to resolve similar incidents in the framework of incident prevention and regulation mechanism adopted at the international Geneva talks.

In the statement, the French Foreign Ministry reiterates its support to Georgia`s independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty within its internationally recognized boundaries.
