18.10.2009. Russian occupiers intend to start mining the administrative boundary of Georgia`s breakaway region of Abkhazia. The aggressors are spreading informational brochures regarding their decision in Gali district.
The occupants blew up the territory in the vicinity of the administrative boundaries of Otobaia and Tagiloni villages. From this territory, buses from several villages of Gali district were able to go Zugdidi town of Georgian-controlled territory trough an alternative route.
The buses have been seized and taken to Gali town.
Along with this, over hundred trucks loaded with construction materials have entered villages of Pichori, Otobaia and Gagida. Military bases, border checkpoint have been intended to be constructed there. Besides, additional fifty special groups have been mobilized on the ground.
